Overview
Drawing upon classical string quartet scores, the QAH continues its immersion in the vast chamber music repertoire, while exploring the possibilities of its own instruments.
During this concert interspersed with reading, Ludwig Van Beethoven’s String Quartet Opus 18 n°1, Richard Dubugnon’s melodrama “La Lettre à l’Immortelle Bien Aimée” (Letter to the Immortal Beloved) and Fanny Mendelssohn’s Quartet in E-flat Major bring to life the letters of Ludwig, Fanny and Felix. This creation immerses us in the private lives of the composers, revealing the complexities of their hearts and their struggles.
