Because there are encounters that we do not forget, there are encounters that forge a destiny, there are composers who permeate your musical universe and stick to your skin.
Johann Strauss has been accompanying us for 25 years, his melodies, his lightness, his festive side but also his requirement, his implacable rhythm and what he imposes on artistic and often physical involvement.
He marked his time, he left an imprint that others, after him, seized to pay tribute to him, to amplify his remarks; that others have shunned; that still others have not grasped while devoting deep admiration to Strauss.
Strauss allows bridges between all those, Strauss allows bridges between popular and learned, Strauss is a connection alchemist.
The QAH paid tribute to him in 2023 and 2024 with Strauss & Co, he pushed the doors of an infinite number of works to appropriate. Strauss & Co, which was intended to be a unique project, therefore a new opus, just as rich and exciting and will try to create a link between Strauss, the present, the popular and what has also become of the waltz today with a creation of Vincent Peirani, Jazz Musette Waltz!
