The Quatuor Anches Hantées offers a “real” miniature orchestral concert structured around a program that varies across eras and inspirations (Strauss, Bernstein, Hellmesberger, Glinka, Khachaturian, Tchaikovsky, Shostakovich, etc.).
As they do with their General Public program, the members of the QAH present the works and the instruments in a simple and engaging way. One piece evokes a musical comedy, another a dance, a fight, a conversation between two lovers… Once the atmosphere is established, they begin to reveal, in a crescendo, the secrets of the quartet’s creation, chamber music, and finally, the ORCHESTRA!
