What remains of opera without its singers who carry it with their voices?
Everything! For it is also the role of the orchestra to carry the composer’s music.
Whether the audience praises their performance with applause or condemns it with boos, yesterday’s and today’s audiences often pay more attention to the leading roles, paying little heed to the libretto or even the music itself.
We aim to rectify this injustice here and to rehabilitate all these beautiful, unheard melodies…
